Statement

My subject matter and approach to intaglio methods are only evidence of my evolution personally and artistically. I experienced no sudden revelation or epiphany on a particular matter. I cannot write about my art without writing about my life. The process became fully formed as I did. Questioning ones place in the universe is apart of the human condition, the same goes for personal identity. It is very possible that I spend my time looking for my history in the histories of others. I am not entirely sure why my work has taken this turn, all that I know is that it makes me feel whole. It is a powerful naturally occurring compulsion and when I nurture it I evolve.
